Our Story

A Love Transcending Continents & Cultures

After meeting in Cape Town and officially starting our relationship there a few months later, we moved to Paris for a year for Luwi to do her Masters. Since then we're in Berlin and can't wait to start this new chapter together, with you in Lusaka.

You have shared so many important moments and events with us over the course of our lives. We are thrilled to shares more of our partners lives with you too and bring our families together.

About The Wedding

We invite you to celebrate our wedding with us at the Lilayi Lodge on 09.04.2027. The weekend before the wedding we would like you to join us on a small weekend getaway trip to the Victoria Falls (optional). All details below.

Please arrive on 09th April 2027 by 1.00pm CAT at Lilayi Lodge and have your invite to show at the entrance.

Parking

Lilayi offers ample space for parking. If you intend on drinking alcohol, we kindly ask you to take a taxi rather than drive yourself. #dontdrinkanddrive

Photos

We will have professional photographers and videographers capturing our wedding. We ask you to be present during the ceremony and not take pictures or videos.

Plus-Ones

Your invite and personal website link should contain information about plus-ones. To keep the wedding intimate, we are not allowing additions beyond that.

Schedule

The wedding day will start at 1.00pm CAT and end at 1.00am CAT the next day. Find more information here.

Social Media

We ask you to not post pictures or videos of the wedding on your social media until Monday morning after the wedding, this way we can have some time for us right after the wedding. Ty!

Transportation

There are Taxis in Lusaka and they will pick you up from the lodge at night if you pay them for it. We recommend that.
